Description

Program Details

AURA supports upper-division undergraduate students to engage in independent research, creative, or scholarly projects (outside of a regular course) conducted under the mentorship of a faculty member. Each selected student will receive a $1,000 award to participate in the proposed research, artisitic, or scholarly project. Up to $500 in additional funding is available to support project-related expenses.  When appropriate, students are encouraged to earn academic credit for their research, creative, or scholarly project.  AURA students are required to present their scholarly products at the Spring Student Showcase at Buffalo State.

The student begins the application, and after submission, the faculty mentor completes the application. Proposals will be reviewed for completeness, the quality of the experience for the student, and feasibility to be completed within the semester. Preference will be given to full time students with strong academic records and to those with a previous record of success in EURO.
