The Undergraduate Research Office administers a variety of programs to promote and enhance opportunities for undergraduates to participate in research, scholarly activities, and creativity.
Provides up to $400 to assist students in carrying out a research project or creative activity during the academic year.
Allows students to present their preliminary and completed research and creative activities in a student-friendly and supportive environment. This annual event is one of Buffalo State’s great traditions. In Spring 2022, the SRCC will be incoporated into the SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC) being hosted by Buffalo State
Allows students to present advanced research and creative projects at a system-wide SUNY/CUNY event. SURC is held each spring at alternating campuses across New York State.

Supports up to eight weeks of student research, scholarly, and creative activities. Each fellowship provides a student stipend and associated support for supplies and/or equipment to support the project.
Provides support for students to attend professional meetings and conferences to give a presentation or performance.
The EURO program provides Buffalo State students with an early undergraduate research/scholarly/creative experience by serving as an assistant to a faculty member working on research/scholarly/creative activities.
